Estudio de densidades de siembra y su influencia sobre componentes del rendimiento en cebada (Hordeum vulgare L.)

Abstract

La presente investigación se llevó a cabo durante los meses de Marzo y Septiembre, bajo condiciones climáticas normales¡ en la Estación Experimental "Santa Catalina" del INIAP, situada en la Parroquia Cutuglagua, Cantón Mejía, Provincia de Pichincha,, en suelos pertenecientes a la serie “Santa. Catalina" de textura franco-limosa, con el objeto de estudiar la respuesta a la densidad de siembra de cuatro variedades de Cebada,, a la vez que se observó el comportamiento de algunos componentes del rendimiento en el material genético utilizado.

Para el efecto se utilizaron las variedades "Dorada", "’Biobambeña', "Abyssinian" 7 y la línea "Pb-Gal x Fun”, bajo seis densidades de siembras 40 60, 80, 100, 120 y 140 kg/ha. Los componentes del rendimiento que se cuantificaron fueron:: longitud de espiga, número de espiguillas por espiga, número de granos por espiga, .y peso de grano, a partir de una maestra al azar de 10 plantas obtenidas en la unidad de maestreó, en la cual, a la vez se midieron el número de tallos por unidad de superficie, el número de macollos por planta, en dos etapas vegetativas; macollamiento y madurez fisiológica.

This investigation was conducted betwen the months of March and September under normal climatic conditions in the “Santa Catalina” Experimental “ Station of 3NIAP, situated in the parish of Cutuglagua , Mejía, Pichincha, in soils belonging to the "Santa Catalina"., serie of silty loam texture» The object of this investigation m s to study the effect of varying the seed on several yield components within the genetic material utilized four varieties of barley.

For this purpose the varieties “Dorada”,"Riobambeña”, "Abyssinian” and the line "Pb-Gal x Funza19 were used at 6 seed sates; 40, 60, SO, 100, 120 and 140 kg/ha „ Data was . collected, from a random sample of 10 plants ta ken from the units of sampling area, on length of spike, number of spikelets per spike, number of grains per spike and weight of grain,, At the sane time, the number of stems per unit area and the number of tillers per plant at two vegetative stages - tillering and physiological maturity were recorded.
