Abstract

En los últimos años el cultivo de papa a sido afectado por el ingreso de nuevas plagas que ocasionan grandes pérdidas de los tubérculos en campo y almacenamiento, entre las que sobresalen las polillas Symmetrischema tangolias (GYEN) y a Tecia solanivora (POVOLNY) En el presente estudio se evaluará el efecto de las temperaturas 10°C y 15DC, considerando que normalmente el agricultor cultiva y almacena su semilla dentro de este rango. Además es parte de próximos estudios que se desarrollarán a diferentes temperaturas.In the past few years potato crops have been affected by the presence of new plagues causing a big lost of this tuber ¡n the fields and in storage. The common plagues that affect the potato are Symmetrischema tangolias (GYEN) and Tecia solanivora (POVOLNY).

The present study shows temperature effects, over the potato crop, considering the fact that the producers store the tuber and its seeds in temperatures between 10° C and 15° C. In additlon, there will be other studies that will be completed in relation with other temperature ranks.
