Abstract
? - 107x
lo describe la ecuación (R = 0,88): Y = 10,962 (1 - e ’ ).
The present work was carried out at the Inter-American Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Turrialba, Costa Rica. The main objective was to evaluate the effect of a liquid concentrate upon milk production, Production data of 3 periods of 30 days each were obtained from 200 lactating cows between the second and sixth month after calving. Treatments consisting of different combinations of hours of grazing and hours in corral were used (hrs.corral/hrs.grazing = X): 18.5/1, 16.5/3, 12/7.5, 8/11, 2/16,5, 0/18.5. Consumption of concentrate was regulated by the time cows remain in the corral after milking. Grass consumption was regulated by the time cows remained in the pastures.
