Abstract
Este trabajo corresponde a ensayo con diferentes niveles de harina de cascara de cacao en cerdos destinados a crecimiento y engorde.
El experimento se llevo a cabo con 5 lotes de 8 animales cada uno: 4 machos castrados y 4 hembras, tomando a un grupo como testigo que no contenía harina de cascara de cacao en su mezcla? las dietas 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 contenían: 5 - 10 - 15 y 20% de harina de cascara de cacao, respectivamente.
De la dieta 5 (20% de cacao), se elimino un cerdo por presentar síntomas de enfermedad y tener un aumento de peso nulo.
This work corresponds to an essay with differents levels of cocoa meal in swine, destinated to growth and fattening. The experiment was realized with 5 lots of 8 animals each, 4 castrated males and 4- females, taking a group as witness whioch did not contain cocoa meal in its mix. The diets 2 -3- 4-5 contained 5 - 1 0 - 1 5 and 20 percent of cocoa meal respectively. In diet 5 (20 per cent of cocoa) one pig was eliminated because he presented disease' symptons and had void overweight.
