dc.description.abstractLos cultivadores de tomate a campo abierto y bajo cubierta en la costa y valles interandinos calificar a la “negrita” como su plaga principal. Este insecto llego del Perú en 1986, avanzando desde el nivel del mar hasta los 1800 msnm. Con la finalidad de disminuir sus efectos dañinos, el INIAP y CEDEGE contando con financiamiento del PROMSA, ejecutan desde el 2000 el proyecto “Diagnostico, bioecologia y manejo sostenible de la negrita Prodiplosis longifila en el Ecuador” del cual se genera la información.es_ES
