The tree Tomato (Solanum betciceum Cav.) it is a fruit-bearing one that in the last years it has been come increasing in the country, but at the moment the properties producers have low yields mainly to the lack of an appropriate Fertilization and of levels chords to the absorption of the plant, what rebounds in quantity and quality of fruits. The tried “Efect of the Chemical and Organic fertilization in tree Tomato {Solanum betciceum Cav.) Tumbaco - Pichincha 2002, carried out in Experimental Farm “Tumbaco” of INIAP, INIAP/PROMSA responds to the necessity of to improve and to increase the production and productivity of the tree tomato in the Ecuadorian highlands, has as main objective: To determine exploratorily the effect of the macronutrientes in the growth, development and yield of the tree tomato, which supplements the previous information obtained by INIAP. The specific objectives were: To determine wich macronutrient is the most critical and to evaluate the result at the applied levels. Observate the state nutrimental of the plant and of the soil. And to carry out the economic analysis of the studied treatments.
